Job Description
The Service Analytics and Enablement team is seeking a Senior Business analyst to join the CSC Analytics team within the Claims & Service Insights and Solutions organization.
As an analyst within the Claims Service Center (CSC) you will support claims outcomes through analyzing FNOL quality, working closely with the business to identify trends and to monitor process improvements, as well as supporting the frontline operation KPI and efficiency. This role will give you exposure to both the claims and service operations, allow you to drive analyses from both standard datasets and new metrics, and frequent experience presenting to CSC leadership and other departments.
Responsibilities:
- Works with other departments and collaborates within the team to support CSC and FNOL Intake initiatives, as well as visibility to frontline performance.
- Deliver insights and recommendation to stakeholders to influence strategy (such as vendor outsourcing strategy) and operational (such as KPI improvement) decisions
- Compiles information and analyzes qualitatively and/or quantitatively, identifies opportunities and implements improvements to current processes and tools to automate and deliver impactful analyses.
- Based on analysis, develops reports, proposals for action or implementation plans as necessary and presents supervisor or manager.
- Works with other departments to coordinate interdepartmental activities in order to ensure that Liberty meets customer expectations.
- Meets with supervisor to discuss project status, surface roadblocks, and present recommendations, as well as performs special projects as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum 3 years, typically 4 or more years of experience, or equivalent, is required.
- Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field are preferred fields of study.
- Advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, statistical principles and methodologies, and techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, macros, scripts, formulas, data visualization, etc.), PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, Emblem).
- Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills. Solid understanding of business to improve business outcomes.
