Liberty Mutual
Project Manager, Transformation Management Office
Job Description
Description
As a key member of the newly established Transformation Management Office (TMO), you’ll help shape the future of GRS and bring our Bridge to Excellence vision to life—a bold evolution toward simpler, smarter ways of working.
Our goal is to become the risk-aware partner that clients and brokers trust above all. The TMO is at the helm of this effort, partnering across the organization to steer transformation forward and deliver on Strategy 2030 —and you’ll be at the center of driving meaningful change.
If you thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a tangible impact on our 2030 vision, this is your opportunity to lead transformation that truly matters.
What You’ll Do: As a Project Manager in the TMO, you’ll turn strategic ambitions into delivered outcomes by leading complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Own end-to-end delivery of transformation projects across initiation, planning, execution, and close-out phases.
- Define and document business cases, objectives, scope, success criteria, timelines, resources, and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain detailed plans—including schedules, resource allocation, and budgets—while adapting to evolving priorities.
- Implement strong governance (SteerCos, RACI, decision logs, change control) to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, coordinating workstreams, vendors, and internal teams to hit milestones on time and to quality standards.
- Drive stakeholder engagement through clear reporting, dashboards, and proactive communication of risks and trade-offs.
- Identify and resolve risks/issues early, escalating when needed to keep projects on track.
- Drive change and adoption, enabling team performance and ensuring solutions are ultimately embedded and sustained upon delivery
- Partner with senior leaders, including the Chief Transformation Officer, to report on progress and value delivery and proactively mitigate risks
- Champion continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned and contributing to TMO tools and processes.
- Lead project close-out, validating deliverables, confirming benefit realization, and documenting insights for future success.
Why This Role Is Exciting:
- You’ll be part of a high-impact team that is redefining how GRS operates—simpler, smarter, and more connected.
- You’ll work on strategic initiatives that matter most, influencing decisions at the highest levels.
- You’ll help build execution excellence standards that will shape the organization for years to come.
- You’ll gain broad exposure across GRS, building a deep understanding of how large-scale change is delivered.
- You’ll grow your skills in a fast-paced environment with visibility to senior leadership.
If you’re passionate about driving change, thrive in complexity, and want to help shape the future of GRS, we’d love to have you on this journey.
