The newly established GRS North America Casualty Portfolio Management team is hiring a Product Consultant to support the North America Casualty CUO & EUO teams by providing active monitoring, analysis and portfolio oversight, which enables the successful development & execution of comprehensive underwriting & product strategies (spanning Auto, General Liability, Umbrella, Excess, and Workers’ Compensation lines).

This technical role involves managing sophisticated data gathering & analysis, monitoring critical performance indicators around portfolio quality, volatility, price adequacy & terms as well as execution against portfolio objectives, and a strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (actuarial & analytics, data science, data management, and underwriting).

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts complex data gathering & manipulation
  • Monitor performance against objectives & analyzes deviations from plan
  • Identifies key trends, anomalies & performance drivers across NA Casualty lines of business
  • Presents insights, trends & recommendations to Casualty Underwriting Office & partners
  • Provides complex analysis to help drive and support business decisions
  • Partners closely with data teams, actuarial, analytics, data science, & underwriting to ensure transparency & alignment around insights, feedback, data office projects, new tools etc.
  • Supports market sensing monitoring across NA Casualty portfolio

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or other quantitative field. Minimum 3 years, typically 4 years or more of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software (e.g., SAS, Access).
  • Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
