The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

Liberty Mutual Early Talent Acquisition & Engagement Programs is seeking an experienced and innovative program manager to lead and continuously improve our intern experience. This role is responsible for building and managing infrastructure necessary to support interns across the US; organizing and executing strategies and events to connect interns with senior management; supporting Early Talent efforts to attract intern talent and convert them to full time hires; and planning and executing key communications strategies that keep interns connected to Liberty Mutual and position Liberty as an employer of choice.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a program team of specialists and recruiters focused on early talent programs. Ensure effective planning, sourcing, and relationship management to build a strong talent pipeline. Set standards and provide feedback on team performance.
  • Collaborate with Early Talent Managers to develop recruiting strategies that align with Liberty Mutual’s business goals. Research and implement innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Design and facilitate engaging intern events and activities. Serve as the main point of contact for on-site programs. Track and analyze the success of recruiting efforts.
  • Create and manage intern marketing campaigns. Develop and distribute high-quality communications to current and former interns, ensuring consistent engagement.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive onboarding and training programs to ensure interns are well-prepared and integrated into the company culture and operations.
  • Works to meet established metrics for intern recruiting, hiring, and performance per the assigned business unit or function. Provides insightful analysis of reports and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines

Qualifications

  • 5 -7 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience on a national, multi-location basis.
  • Significant experience in high-volume settings requiring a sense of immediacy, with demonstrated ability to manage competing demands, receive constructive feedback, and maintain adaptability and flexibility.
  • Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies for employer branding. Specific experience with intern programs, recruiting, and communications.
  • Ability to inspire and guide interns, team members and hiring managers, fostering a positive and productive environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with interns, stakeholders, and partners effectively.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and deadlines efficiently.
  • Aptitude for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
  • Proficiency in planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure they align with program goals.
  • Capability to assess program performance, analyze data, and make informed decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing circumstances and handle unexpected challenges effectively
