The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

The USRM Agency Distribution Solutions (ADS) team is looking for a highly motivated Analyst, Advanced Analytics with a strong attention to detail, natural curiosity, and an analytical background to join our team. This new team member will join the Agency Insights team, supporting Comparion Insurance Agency’s recognition program and sales compensation plan analytics.

Comparion Insurance Agency maintains various recognition programs annually for its local agents and managers, in addition to some short-term programs that run locally. The agency also has a sizeable sales compensation plan for its agents and managers. This role will have responsibilities supporting both programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Partners cross-functionally to analyze the success of recognition programs and determine employee eligibility
  • Ensures accurate reporting, monitors and projects winners throughout the contest periods
  • Assists with setting and maintaining the recognition program budget
  • Provides ad hoc analytical and reporting support for recognition team
  • Assists with annual goal setting and monitoring of compensation programs throughout the year
  • Updates reporting and calculation tools to support agent and manager compensation
  • Builds new tools for front-line teams to understand and optimize their sales compensation
  • Provides ad hoc support to assist in sales compensation inquiries to ensure timely and accurate payments and reporting
  • Continually assesses the business value and efficiency of the work performed, making suggestions for improvements and collaborating with others in implementing them.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 2-4 years of experience, or Master’s Degree with no professional experience, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, Emblem).
  • Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data sources, tools and common statistical principals.
  • Understanding of intricacies of business supported is helpful.
  • Understands how actions tie to systems capabilities and flow through to our financials/business drivers.
  • Ability to learn how to build simple tools and queries for others to use.
