The Production Technician is responsible for assembling small mechanical parts, performing quality checks, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Requires attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and proficiency with small hand tools. Preferred experience includes small parts assembly, medical device manufacturing, or cleanroom environments. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive motions.

This is a full-time temporary position with the potential to convert to a regular employee. This is a Monday to Friday, 2nd shift (1:30PM – 9:30PM) position. 
 
Responsibilities:
·       Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
·       Perform quality work checks to ensure product meets quality standards.
·       Comply with policies, guidelines and safety and regulatory requirements per Lexington Medical Quality System.
·       Completes all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements.
·       Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Management.
·       Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.
·       Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
 
Physical Requirements:
·       Ability to manipulate small hand tools and assemble small mechanical parts
·       Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
·       Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
·       Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25
·       pounds.
·       Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision.
 
Qualifications & Education:
·       High school diploma or equivalent.
·       Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
·       Strong written and oral communications skills.
·       Well organized, detail oriented.
·       Familiarity with office computer programs.
·       Small parts assembly experience strongly preferred.
·       Medical device or other regulated industry experience a plus.
·       Cleanroom experience a plus.
