InvoiceCloud is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the Biller Experience — our B2B portal and toolset used every day by thousands of billers across the utility, insurance, government, and county tax markets. The Biller Portal is InvoiceCloud's operational nerve center: where our customers configure their payment experience, run reporting, manage their payer base, and – increasingly with AI – do work in minutes that used to take hours. This PM will help to define what that future looks like and build it.

Reporting to the VP of Product, you will partner with engineering, design, and data teams to drive the Biller Portal from a capable admin tool to a genuinely intelligent workspace. You will own your team’s roadmap, run discovery, and hold yourself accountable to measurable outcomes – not just shipped features. This role is for someone who leads with clarity, uses AI as a genuine force multiplier in their daily work, moves fast without sacrificing quality, and thrives collaborating in person in our Seaport office and virtually.

Success Profile

At InvoiceCloud, success is anchored in our core competencies. These competencies guide how every employee delivers impact across their role.

Ownership

  • Owns part of the Biller Portal product strategy and roadmap – making prioritization calls that are clear, defensible, and tied directly to biller outcomes and InvoiceCloud business goals.
  • Maintains a living roadmap in Jira and Confluence that Engineering, Design, and GTM teams can rely on; no one should learn about priority changes from Slack or hallway conversations.
  • Writes precise, well-scoped feature specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that eliminate ambiguity and let the engineering team build without unnecessary clarification cycles.
  • Maintains a backlog that is consistently 3+ sprints ready, with explicit definitions of done and clear rationale for sequencing decisions.
  • Takes accountability for outcomes, not output – owns post-launch metrics, revisits decisions when the data says to, and communicates results transparently.

Drives Efficiency

  • Uses AI tools (including Claude, ChatGPT, and GenAI-assisted documentation) as a daily force multiplier – for discovery synthesis, spec drafting, competitive research, and stakeholder updates. This is expected, not optional.
  • Leverages Pendo to track feature adoption, run in-app guidance, and surface early behavioral signals about what's working before formal metrics cycles.
  • Pulls from Snowflake and Tableau to identify biller workflow bottlenecks, measure the impact of shipped features, and build the quantitative case for roadmap investments.
  • Partners closely with Engineering and UX to streamline delivery cycles and reduce rework through strong discovery, clear requirements, and timely decision-making that keeps teams unblocked.
  • Drives operational readiness across Implementations, Customer Success, and Product Marketing so every launch lands cleanly – billers understand what changed, CS can support it, and adoption is measured from day one.

Results Driven

  • Defines clear, measurable success criteria for every major initiative – adoption rates, task completion time, support ticket deflection, portal engagement – and treats the absence of metrics as a gap to close, not an acceptable starting state.
  • Monitors Pendo and product analytics continuously; flags performance gaps early and brings structured recommendations for what to do about them before they become missed commitments.
  • Uses data and structured feedback from Customer Success to build a rigorous, regularly refreshed understanding of where billers lose time, where they call support unnecessarily, and where workflows break down.
  • Ensures every shipped capability moves at least one measurable needle – reduced support dependencies, improved biller task efficiency, or increased adoption of higher-value InvoiceCloud capabilities.
  • Makes thoughtful tradeoffs that account for customer value, technical cost, and business impact – and documents those tradeoffs so the organization can learn from them.

Innovative

  • Leads structured discovery for the Biller Portal through customer interviews, workflow observation, and support ticket analysis – building a point of view on where AI can eliminate friction billers have simply learned to live with.
  • Identifies where AI-driven automation, intelligent defaults, and in-portal guidance can meaningfully reduce biller workload – and writes specs that allow Engineering to build and deploy those capabilities responsibly, with appropriate telemetry and evaluation criteria.
  • Uses GenAI tools actively and visibly to sharpen their own work: synthesizing research, drafting specs faster, identifying competitive patterns, and modeling decision scenarios.
  • Monitors developments in fintech UX, EBPP, and AI-powered B2B SaaS to continuously pressure-test whether the roadmap reflects the highest-value opportunities – and brings competitors' moves to the table before someone else does.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of B2B SaaS product management experience with direct ownership of a platform, admin tool, or customer-facing product area.
  • Demonstrated track record of shipping capabilities that drove measurable adoption and biller or customer outcomes; you can tell the story of what you shipped, what you measured, and what happened.
  • Active, daily fluency with AI tools in your product work – you already use them for research, drafting, and synthesis and can describe specifically how.
  • Experience using product analytics (Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent) and data tools (Snowflake, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent) to inform prioritization and evaluate outcomes.
  • Experience managing a backlog and collaborating with Design and Engineering leads to maintain it.
  • Strong written communication: your specs, briefs, and stakeholder updates are clear, structured, and don't require a follow-up meeting to interpret.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, billing, EBPP, or operationally complex B2B SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
