Eyebot
Senior R&D Engineer
Job Description
123 SEE, Inc. (dba Eyebot) (Boston, MA) seeks Senior R&D Engineer.
JOB DUTIES
-
Develop novel image processing algorithms for intelligent extraction of both geometric and semantic information from visual sensors for pupil detection, eye gaze calculation, depth tracking, pupillary distance (PD), and eye prescription calculation
-
Develop highly specialized algorithms that involve machine vision, computer vision, pattern recognition, object detection and object segmentation to extract lens prescriptions from glasses. Creating the worlds fastest binocular lensometer
-
Interface infrared lighting, microelectronics hardware with camera hardware to capture images of eyes and perform infrared binocular photoretinoscopy to extract SPH, CYL and AXIS measurement for eye prescriptions
-
Specialized in optomechanics and mechatronics design to engineer and manufacture advanced mechanical eyes via rapid prototyping, for calibration of eyescanning systems
-
Calibrate eyescanning systems and generating high order polynomial functions to convert from raw image patterns to eye prescription values
-
Calibrate lens scanning systems and developing calibration polynomials to relate lens distortion to SPH, CYL and AXIS values of a lens
-
Construct sophisticated neural network architectures for the extraction of pupil metrics and the automated generation of eye prescriptions from extensive datasets.
-
Engineer precise neural networks for seamless, real-time facial position tracking.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics or a related field.
Plus 6 months of demonstrated experience in:
-
Computer vision & Image Processing, including Stereo Camera image stitching and
-
depth computation
-
Calibrating single and multiple camera systems
-
Fiducial Markers Detection using OpenCV, Scipy and Python
-
Building Neural networks with PyTorch and Tensorflow
-
