About The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Technician to help build, test, and support Eyebot’s diagnostic vision kiosks. You’ll work closely with our hardware and software teams to assemble prototypes, validate components, troubleshoot issues, and ensure our systems are reliable and production-ready.
This is a fast-paced, physical, and collaborative role—ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with hardware, solving real-time problems, and making a tangible impact on a product that’s already out in the world.
Note: This is a full-time, in-office role based in Boston. We work together 4-5 days a week to support rapid prototyping and cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Do:

Assemble and wire kiosk components including optics, electronics, and mechanical systems

Run validation tests and calibration routines on new builds

Follow build procedures and checklists to ensure consistency and quality

Log test data, document failures, and suggest process improvements

Assist with firmware flashing, basic software setup, and system bring-up

Maintain lab space, inventory, tools, and prototype organization

Support field deployments and in-market kiosk service, repairs, and upgrades
What We’re Looking For:
Technical
-
3+ years of experience in a technician, hardware support, or assembly role
-
Proficient with tools like screwdrivers, calipers, multimeters, and soldering irons
-
Comfortable reading assembly instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams
-
Familiarity with safe handling of electronics and mechanical subassemblies

Detail-oriented, organized, and self-directed

Experience with optical systems, embedded computing (Raspberry Pi, Jetson), or robotics

Exposure to medical devices or regulated hardware

Comfortable using spreadsheets, issue trackers, and documentation tools like Notion
