About the Role 

EliseAI is looking for a Growth Strategist (Customer Success) to lead the charge in scaling customer success. You’ll onboard new customers, drive meaningful product adoption, and design scalable systems to help users get more value — faster.

This isn’t your typical Customer Success Manager role. You'll be the link between customers and product development, working directly with customers to understand their goals, help them launch products and identify opportunities for growth and new products. At the same time, you’ll manage a broad portfolio of accounts by leveraging automation, smart workflows, and proactive outreach. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboarding & Implementation: Own time-to-value by guiding customers through their first use case, helping them realize value quickly and effectively. You’ll lead training sessions, field questions, and light the spark for long-term engagement
  • Account Management: Support a high volume of customers through automated workflows, data insights, and strategic interventions — all designed to drive satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Proactive, Data-Led Outreach: Monitor customer usage signals and reach out at the right time — whether they’re at risk, need help, or are ready to expand.
  • Strategic Check-Ins & Reviews: Lead critical touchpoints like business reviews and strategic sessions to strengthen relationships and align on outcomes.
  • Content & Enablement: Create guides, tutorials, and resources that empower customers to succeed independently and reduce friction throughout the journey.
  • Customer – Product Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the customer internally — sharing insights with Product and Engineering to inform the roadmap and enhance the overall experience.

 

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a SaaS Customer Success role, ideally with a focus on managing a high volume of accounts.
  • Hands-on experience with customer success tools such as PlanHat, Gainsight, ChurnZero, Totango, or similar platforms is required.
  • Proven ability to lead critical customer meetings, including QBRs and strategic touchpoints.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable strategies. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Experience balancing scalable, technology-driven engagement with personal relationship management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a proactive mindset.
  • Knowledge of SaaS integrations, APIs, and technical workflows is a plus.
  • Willingness to work in person at our NYC headquarters 4-5 days per week.

We'll cover relocation packages from outside of the Greater NYC metro area – we'll make the move exciting, not painful.

Job Compensation Range:

The salary range for this role is $90,000 – $120,000 (OTE $112,500 – $142,500). EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, a comprehensive benefits & perks package, and commission for the TCSM role. Exact compensation is determined based on a number of factors including experience, skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process.
