The Crown Is Yours
As a Payroll Tax Manager, you'll own multi-jurisdictional payroll tax operations and drive process enhancements using Workday. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, People Operations, and Tax to ensure compliance, streamline workflows, and prepare for geographic expansion. What You'll Do

Oversee end-to-end payroll tax processes using Workday HCM and third-party vendors.

Ensure federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance across multiple U.S. jurisdictions and business entities.

Reconcile and file payroll tax returns, including quarterly and annual filings such as 941s and W-2s.

Maintain accurate employee tax setup and resolve discrepancies related to multi-state work locations.

Manage agency accounts, registration, tax rates, and tax profiles across multiple FEINs.

Partner with internal teams to implement configuration changes, process updates, and payroll tax system enhancements.

Lead audit responses, agency inquiries, and manage amendments and notices.

Stay up to date on tax law changes and assess their impact on operations and compliance.
What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

At least 5 years of payroll tax experience, including 2+ years managing multi-state compliance.

Deep knowledge of U.S. payroll tax regulations, including nexus rules and reciprocal agreements.

Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll configuration, reporting, and integrations.

Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy in reconciliation and filings.

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred, with a strong aptitude for process improvement.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 103,500.00 USD – 129,400.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
