The Role
The Director of Demand Generation at Cedar is a revenue catalyst who architects and drives the strategies that fuel our growth. This visionary leader orchestrates Cedar's comprehensive growth engine, designing high-impact programs that capture the attention of decision-makers within our target segments. You'll leverage cutting-edge marketing approaches to transform interested prospects into revenue opportunities, building predictable pipeline at scale through innovative digital campaigns and compelling content. The ideal candidate combines creative marketing brilliance with analytical precision to accelerate pipeline growth, optimize performance metrics, and deliver measurable business impact aligned with Cedar's ambitious 2025 vision.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust account and persona segmentation framework that powers Cedar's demand generation efforts
- Create and develop integrated programs and campaigns aligned with new market launches, as well as existing upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Design and execute personalized nurture campaigns to convert leads into qualified opportunities
- Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to establish priorities, goals and targets, and develop strategic and tactical plans to deliver on those targets
- Partner with creative/brand team to develop ad assets, landing pages, etc. for marketing and sales
- Create a unified pipeline team (campaigns, digital, experience) in concert with our sales function with a commitment to reject mediocrity
- Design and implement a system of target setting and measurement to achieve pipeline goals, aligning to our Commercial goals. Track and optimize key performance indicators including MQLs, CAC, CARR, pipeline influence, CPM, and CPL
- Create effective lead magnets, webinars, and content syndication programs to drive qualified leads
- Help lead, recruit, motivate, and mentor a team of high-performing, data-driven marketers
Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of demand generation experience in a complex, enterprise SaaS or technology company. Experience marketing to large healthcare providers is a plus, but not required.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B demand generation strategies
- Strong expertise with multi-channel marketing campaigns and marketing analytics tools. Expert-level proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Hubspot) and CRM (SFDC)
- Strong strategic/core technical skills with the ability to build marketing technology stacks
- Highly developed communications skills (written/verbal) and interpersonal savvy
- Results/action-orientation with excellent project management skills
- Organizational and political agility; ability to navigate successfully within ambiguity
- Experience managing technical vendors and agencies
Compensation Range and Benefits
- Salary/Hourly Rate Range*: $136,000 – $160,000
- This role is equity eligible
