Role overview
CarGurus is seeking an Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our Pricing product team. In this role, you’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Data Science to help build and iterate on products that power intelligent pricing decisions for dealerships. Our Pricing tools are core to helping dealers optimize vehicle margins and turn rates, allowing you to directly impact their business success. This is a great opportunity for someone who is energized by operational excellence, user impact, and working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do
- Support the execution of pricing product initiatives by maintaining clear documentation, timelines, and coordination across stakeholders
- Partner with Engineering, Analytics, UX, and Data Science to translate product ideas and dealer feedback into clear requirements and user stories
- Assist with day-to-day backlog grooming, QA coordination, and sprint planning alongside engineering
- Monitor product performance and help identify patterns and insights that inform future iterations
- Coordinate testing efforts, collect feedback, and synthesize learnings to shape next steps
- Support go-to-market activities in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Support
- Stay close to user problems and be a voice for dealers in product discussions
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years of experience in product management, business operations, or analytics roles
- Strong project coordination skills with the ability to drive progress across multiple work-streams
- A data-driven mindset, you’re comfortable digging into dashboards and asking the right questions
- Empathy for users, particularly small business operators, and a desire to build impactful, user-friendly tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done
