R1244 – Senior Product Manager, Core Consumer Security
Location: Remote in US – must be willing to work hours that maximize overlap with Europe.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our Core Consumer Security portfolio—the everyday tools and protections that keep our customers safe online. This isn’t just about checking a “security” box; it’s about identifying those critical pain points that stop consumers from being proactively secure and turning them into moments of delight. Whether it’s making stronger authentication painless, simplifying antivirus protection, or building intuitive tools for safe browsing, you’ll be driving features that both protect our customers and grow the business.
You’ll also be at the forefront of turning the latest AI advancements—LLMs and traditional machine learning—into guided, automated experiences that help customers stay safe without needing to be security experts.
What You’ll Do:
- Product Strategy & Vision: Partner with the Director of Product to define and evolve the vision for core consumer security at Aura. Make thoughtful build-vs-partner calls, ensuring our portfolio aligns with both customer needs and business goals.
- Relentless Execution: Own the product lifecycle from concept to launch. Prototype early, validate quickly, and iterate based on evidence. You’re not afraid to get scrappy if it moves the product forward.
- Customer Empathy: Identify the little friction points that stop customers from taking action—then design solutions that remove those barriers. Understand threats and how they translate into real-world user concerns.
- AI-Driven Innovation: Leverage AI and LLM technologies to create smarter, more automated experiences that empower customers without overwhelming them.
- Measure & Improve: Define success metrics that matter, track them relentlessly, and adapt based on what you learn.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with design, engineering, marketing, and customer-facing teams to ensure every release delivers meaningful value.
- Business Impact: Balance customer delight with commercial outcomes, ensuring our security tools aren’t just useful—they drive measurable business results.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 5+ years in product management with at least 2 years owning end-to-end product outcomes in a SaaS business, ideally in security, privacy, or adjacent consumer technology.
- Execution Mindset: A track record of moving quickly from idea to impact—prototyping, validating, and shipping.
- Strategic Thinking: Comfort making portfolio-level decisions, including build vs. buy/partner trade-offs.
- Curiosity & Insight: An instinct for asking the right questions, uncovering hidden friction, and challenging assumptions.
- Technical Fluency: Familiarity with security technologies, threat modeling, or applied AI is a plus, but not a blocker if you can learn quickly.
- Data-Driven Approach: You’re comfortable defining, measuring, and acting on KPIs that tie product outcomes to business impact.
- Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
Why Join Us?
- Impact: Shape the tools millions rely on to stay safe online.
- Innovation: Apply cutting-edge AI to real-world security problems.
- Growth: Be part of a fast-growing company where the work you do directly moves the needle.
- Culture: Join a smart, driven, collaborative team that values execution and customer impact over busywork.
