Brief Overview:

The Senior (Snr) Recruiter plays an integral role in Global Talent Acquisition at Amwell. Our TA team serves as valued partners to the business and supports the continued growth and development of our talent eco system. In this role, the Snr Recruiter will own the hiring manager experience and satisfaction with end-to-end recruitment, contribute to the development and execution of global TA projects, and have ownership of the end-to-end recruitment life cycle. You will work as part of a high-performance, fast-paced team, with recruitment responsibilities across all departments and locations, including US, Colombia, Ireland and UK.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full life-cycle recruitment, across multiple domestic and international locations, including candidate sourcing, selection, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation and closing, and associated administrative functions, proactively identifying opportunities to improve TA processes to drive client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with leadership and hiring managers to develop candidate pipelines and sourcing strategies.
  • Proactively contribute to the development of recruiting and selection strategies that address short-term and long-term talent/workforce needs; develop plans to address aging requisitions.
  • Prepare meaningful TA reports and metrics, that should be shared with management to actively review team performance and progress.
  • Utilize TA best practices and recruitment strategies that support an inclusive talent eco system.
  • Partner with hiring managers to obtain understanding of position requirements and department/organizational goals; provide thought leadership to hiring managers on best practices and proven recruitment strategies to successfully attract top talent for assigned job openings and be the initial point person to resolve any client concerns or escalations by offering options to successfully resolve the matter
  • Coordinate and track interviews with hiring managers; organize and lead debrief meetings.
  • Anticipate and proactively communicate recruiting activity and status to candidates, hiring managers, and business partners.
  • Contribute to wider cross-functional HR initiatives across our people team.
  • Own aspects of specified global TA projects in partnership with the TA manager and TA team.
  • Utilize and optimize the talent acquisition system to support the recruitment process.
  • Champion system roll outs and implementation, development and roll out of manager training, and support with communicating system updates to the business; may serve as a mentor to other recruiters within the TA team
  • Contribute to the development of Amwell’s Employer Brand in the market, lead TA engagement initiatives and think creatively to support the creation of new TA branding opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 (five) years’ experience in Talent Acquisition in a global, high growth organization, ideally tech/health; experience recruiting in the Colombia, Ireland or UK international markets is a plus
  • Proven experience successfully recruiting for a broad range of positions, across multiple business streams within the technology and/or health tech industry.
  • Experience leading TA related projects including proactively identifying process improvement/development opportunities, TA initiatives and systems, and training initiatives.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reporting and preparing meaningful metrics to showcase TA performance.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sourcing techniques including lead generation, internet/social media, college alumni, trade/industry groups, and other strategies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Committed to acting with integrity, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and a supportive team player.

  • Applicant Tracking System Experience required; preferably experience in Phenom.

Salaried, Exempt Roles:

The typical base salary range for this position is $87,000 – $120,000. The actual salary offer will ultimately depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, relevant education, experience, complexity or specialization of talent, and other objective factors. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company performance and employee performance. Long-term incentive and short-term variable compensation may be offered as part of the compensation package dependent on the role. Some roles may be commission based, in which case the total compensation will be based on a commission and the above range may not be an accurate representation of total compensation.
