We are seeking a strategic and visionary Senior Director of Infrastructure and Cloud Operations to lead our enterprise technology operations across cloud platforms, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). This leader will be responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that enable business growth, support compliance initiatives, and strengthen IT resiliency. 

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in building global teams, driving automation, optimizing cloud environments (Azure/AWS), and leading compliance and security  initiatives. The role requires a collaborative leader with strong business acumen and a deep understanding of modern infrastructure technologies. 

Here’s What You’ll Do:  

• Lead and evolve the strategy for cloud operations, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, and SRE across the enterprise.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions aligned with business and compliance objectives.
• Drive modernization and automation initiatives to improve system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to ensure infrastructure supports product and organizational goals.
• Champion a culture of reliability, observability, and continuous improvement across infrastructure and operations teams.
• Oversee disaster recovery, incident response, and resilience planning to ensure high availability and business continuity.
• Manage vendor relationships, cloud service agreements, and infrastructure budgets with a focus on cost optimization and value delivery.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of engineering and operations leaders, fostering technical excellence and strategic alignment.

What You Bring to the Table:  

• Proven experience in leading large-scale infrastructure and operations functions with local and remote teams . 
• Ability to align IT strategies with business goals and communicate technical concepts to executive stakeholders. 
• Experience building offshore/nearshore capabilities, including establishing teams in regions like India. 
• Customer service obsession (not only for the external but also for the internal customers) 
• Deep hands-on knowledge of Azure and AWS services and cost management strategies. 
• Experience transitioning from a traditional data center deployment to a modern CI/CD and enhancing CI/CD extensibility. 
• Experienced in moving from a traditional VM/Physical environment to a container-based platform 
• Track record of reducing cloud operational spend. 
• Led successful initiatives for enhancing overall security posture and compliance 
• Experience contributing to compliance frameworks and implementing security best practices for privileged access, vulnerability management, and access control. 
• Built and lead joint DevOps and SRE teams to enable reliable delivery pipelines and infrastructure resilience. 
• Experience designing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies and automating deployments in large-scale environments. 
• Demonstrated ability to drive efficiency in operational costs through process automation. Using AI is a plus. 
• Lead reengineering of infrastructure to support secure environments, performance reliability, and service scalability. 
• Proven track record of reducing cloud cost and ongoing monitoring of cloud spend while driving the development team for a culture of cost awareness.
