ABCorp
Sr. Software Engineer, Content & Communications Platform
Job Description
From our nation’s earliest days, ABCorp has been a trusted force in security and innovation. In 1795, the federally chartered Bank of the United States entrusted American Bank Note Company with the mission of producing counterfeit-resistant currency for the young Republic. That legacy established ABCorp as a pioneer in secure printing and shaped our evolution into a global leader in secure manufacturing. What began with protecting America’s financial foundation now drives cutting-edge solutions that safeguard organizations worldwide.
Today, ABCorp operates at the intersection of authentication, payments, and secure access, embracing next-generation (including additive 3D) manufacturing to meet the demands of a digitally driven world. With more than 230 years of expertise, no one understands secure manufacturing and authentication better — or has done it longer. We maintain global reach and compliance across eight locations worldwide and are trusted by fintechs, financial institutions, healthcare companies, governments, and brands in more than 120 countries. We deliver end-to-end innovation through high-security, state-of-the-art facilities that incubate advancements in payments, secure access, and additive manufacturing.

This platform connects customer-facing portal experiences with backend content orchestration, enabling secure document production, templating, reporting, and communications in a regulated financial environment.
You will play a key role in building APIs, services, and portal capabilities that tap into Quadient and other content APIs, ensuring content systems are scalable, secure, and deeply integrated into our Client Experience Platform and manufacturing workflows.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on platform integration, backend services, and modern frontend capabilities.
This is an in-person role based in Boston, MA.
How You’ll Make a Difference

Develop backend systems for document orchestration, templating, versioning, and secure content workflows.
Extend portal capabilities (React and/or Angular) to deliver intuitive content management and reporting experiences.
Ensure content systems are secure-by-design, with role-based access control, audit trails, and compliance alignment.
Integrate content and communications workflows into card issuance and manufacturing processes.
Improve system reliability, observability, and performance across environments.
Collaborate with Product and UX to deliver elegant, secure, and intuitive content experiences.
Contribute to platform architecture decisions across APIs, integrations, and data flows.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and code quality.
Who You Are
5+ years of professional software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise platform environments.
Strong backend experience building RESTful APIs and distributed services.
Experience integrating third-party enterprise platforms (e.g., Quadient, CCM systems, document automation tools, or similar).
Experience designing systems for document management, templating, or content workflows is highly valued.
Familiarity with React and/or Angular for modern web application development.
Experience working with Azure cloud services (AWS/GCP familiarity is a plus).
Understanding of secure access controls, audit logging, and compliance-aware system design.
Strong grasp of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code.
Experience working within cross-functional product teams alongside Product and UX.
Familiarity with regulated industries (payments, fintech, healthcare, identity) is a plus.
Comfort using modern AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude (including Claude Code), Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT Enterprise, or similar platforms.
