Position Overview

We do this by leveraging AI and humans to deliver leading recorded and live captioning, audio description, and localization solutions to global media and entertainment, corporate, and education customers. As a key member of the People team, the Manager of Total Rewards & People Operations will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the 3Play’s total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, and recognition programs. This role will also oversee People operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness in our processes, policies, and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compensation strategy, benefits administration, HR technology, and compliance, with a focus on enhancing employee experience and engagement. 

Key Responsibilities

Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits):

  • Develop, implement, and manage 3Play’s  total rewards strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and market competitiveness.
  • Oversee compensation structures, including salary benchmarking, job evaluations, incentive programs, and pay equity analysis.
  • Manage benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other employee perks.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and brokers to negotiate benefits offerings and optimize cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct annual compensation and benefits reviews and recommend enhancements based on market trends and business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant compensation and benefits laws and regulations.

HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Lead and optimize HR operations, including payroll, HRIS management, reporting, and compliance.
  • Streamline and enhance HR processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and employment policies at local, state, and federal levels.
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures, and handbooks, updating them as necessary to reflect best practices and legal requirements.
  • Oversee HR analytics and reporting, providing insights to support workforce planning and decision-making.

Employee Experience & Engagement:

  • Support employee recognition and rewards programs to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
  • Partner with leadership to develop strategies that support talent acquisition, development, and retention.
  • Address employee inquiries related to compensation, benefits, and HR policies, ensuring timely and effective communication.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in total rewards, compensation, benefits, and HR operations.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now a plus), compensation analysis tools, and benefits administration platforms. 
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of compensation strategies, benefits administration, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze compensation and benefits data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
