CarGurus Company Overview
Meet CarGurus—the #1 visited online car shopping website in the US. At CarGurus, we’re building the world’s most trusted and transparent automotive marketplace where it’s easy to find great deals from top-rated dealers. CarGurus is an engineering-driven company with a passion for data, and that drives everything from the speed at which we launch new products to the spirit of innovation that drives our company’s culture.
We believe a transparent car shopping experience is better for shoppers and sellers alike, and we innovate constantly to deliver on that promise. Today more than 26 Million (and growing) unique monthly visitors use our site and our mobile app to find their next car.
At the core of our company culture is a spirit of innovation, curiosity and collaboration. True to our start-up roots, we’re nimble, flexible and hardworking. We have a great respect for testing and learning and a healthy aversion to scheduling meetings to discuss meetings. Lunch is catered daily. Gym membership is free. Foosball and ping pong are played often. Now a publicly-traded company, we’re as committed as ever to cultivating the culture that got us here.

Our Core Values
We are PIONEERING
We are TRANSPARENT
We are DATA-DRIVEN
We move QUICKLY
We are COLLABORATIVE
We have INTEGRITY
I love how supportive people are of testing new ideas. Some are successful and some aren’t. Either way, we learn and the learning is what’s important.
When building products, we’re empowered to take ownership and innovate. Our dev process is rooted in transparent communication, and we each take an active part in determining our own path within the team.
On the international team, we conduct consumer studies to uncover areas where we can provide the customer with more transparency. Then, we quickly turn those insights into solutions through prototyping, testing, and rapid iteration.
Whether we’re seeing how a copy change impacts organic traffic or testing a new way of loading code, it feels great knowing that we’re making a historically painful process—shopping for a new car—that much better.
The CarGurus sales floor has the most team-first culture of any I’ve sat on during my 13 years in the business, and the product truly sells itself.
The perks here can’t be beat. Where else do you get free lunch every day, a free gym membership, AND a subsidized T-pass? That’s on top of a fully stocked kitchen, and beer and wine on tap.
Welcome to the our new office space at 55 Cambridge Parkway! Due to our growth over the last year we've expanded into a second space to accommodate our booming sales teams.
We are loving our new space located next to the Royal Sonesta Hotel and minutes away from the Cambridgeside Galleria!
At the heart of the new office is a fully stocked kitchen and café where we hang out for lunch and catch the score.
Here's Zach, one of our sales trainers molding the minds of new Gurus in the training room.
55 Cambridge Parkway has a wall of vintage license plates just like our office at 2 Canal Park, it has a few European plates as a nod to our international presence.
Our Canadian team is best known for their impeccable choice in office décor and if they were given a superlative they'd get "Most Likely to Have Fun at Work!"
Our sales team knows that helping new Gurus ramp up is crucial to the overall success of the business.
CarGurus is such a fun place to work, even our meetings are full of smiles.
Our Dealer Relations Team busy at work.
We call it "organized chaos" on the sales floor at 55 Cambridge Parkway.
That "organized chaos" is fueled by cold brew on tap. Lots and lots of cold brew on tap.
Collaboration is such an important part of our work culture and we made sure that our new office has plenty of space for teams to connect with one another.

Our Guru Café leads to our Game Room where you can play ping pong, foosball, video games, shuffle board, and have specialty beer (on tap).
We love cars!
We are lunch-obsessed, so the perk of daily catered lunches is much appreciated. Menus vary day to day, with great healthy options, and always a little dessert on the side.
With something sweet after lunch, there's no truffle in paradise.
If cold brew isn't your thing, our office at 2 Canal has an espresso machine that'll have you saying I love you a latte!
We take foosball very seriously. To preserve the competitive nature of the game the figures are changed in a timely manner and the table is perfectly balanced. Seriously.
