He led the development of Chime SDK Call Analytics, reducing the time required for developers to extract real-time voice insights from 12+ months to just a few clicks. Additionally, his leadership in optimizing Amazon Transcribe resulted in significant performance improvements. 

Beyond AWS, Shankar has a storied track record of high-stakes AI exits and implementations. At IBM, he helped several large customers to implement AI-based solutions, and led several key initiatives at Upserve, contributing to its acquisition.
