Job Brief 

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and contribute to key projects that enhance our operations. You will not only contribute to the success of the engineering team but also gain valuable industry experience that will support your professional growth. 

Here’s What You’ll Do:   

1. Exploring AI Tools for Productivity Enhancement

• Research and experiment with AI-based tools to improve workflow and team efficiency.
• Provide insights and recommendations on how AI solutions can automate repetitive tasks.
• Assist in the integration and testing of AI tools within the engineering team’s workflow.

2. Contributing to Major Projects

• Participate in vendor integrations, working closely with the team to ensure smooth implementation.
• Support engineering improvements via refactoring and rewriting of existing applications.

3. Learning Through Scrum Team Involvement

• Perform small but impactful engineering tasks as part of a scrum team, gaining exposure to agile methodologies.
• Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to understand the development lifecycle.

4. Skill Development and Professional Growth

• Engage in mentorship opportunities with experienced engineers to develop industry-relevant skills.
• Take advantage of training sessions and resources to expand knowledge in engineering and technology.
• Reflect on learning experiences and seek feedback for continuous improvement.
• Present your experiences to the organization at the completion of the internship.

What You Bring to the Table:  

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or have had relevant practical experience.
• Foundational knowledge of programming, software development, or systems engineering concepts.
• Strong interest in emerging technologies, especially AI and automation tools.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and apply new skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Work outside of the formal curriculum is a plus but not required.
