Production Technician – 2nd Shift
Job Description
Alloy is looking for a Production Technician to work within the Part Production team building parts for our customers at Alloy’s part production facility. This role will report to the Shift Lead who will be responsible for on-site training along with support from lead technicians.
If you’re right for this role, you’re hard-working and detail-oriented. You enjoy working with your hands, tools, and running manufacturing equipment. You take pride in the quality of your work, are mechanically inclined, and want to be part of a Team that rolls up its sleeves to get the job done. This is a quickly growing team with a lot of potential for growth.
This role requires 5 days onsite per week.
Responsibilities

Operate Alloy’s novel metal manufacturing systems to build aluminum parts which include laser cutting, bonding presses, and sheet handling equipment

Follow company policies and procedures including safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Good Manufacturing Procedures

Review and update manufacturing records and work orders, identify and correct errors, and submit finished documentation for quality release

Perform quality checks and inspections

Inspect final parts, test material properties, and record data

Support troubleshooting efforts

Provide feedback to help make improvements and identify issues – we love feedback!

Support inventory tracking, shipping, and receiving

Other duties as needed
What you’ll bring
-
2+ years of work experience, preferably at a manufacturing or technology company
-
History of completing tasks efficiently, effectively, and with good attention to detail
-
Experience in a deadline-driven environment

Enjoy working with your hands, tools, and running equipment – mechanically inclined

Experience following procedures and documenting data

Able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs independently, 50 lbs with assist
-
Familiarity with any of the following is a plus: metrology, 3D printing, robotics, CNC machining, and spreadsheet software
Additional requirements
This position will require access to information subject to control under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”).
