We’re looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be a resource for all Klaviyos through the HR inbox & Workday. Much of the day-to-day tasks include critical transactional work, such as processing new hires and answering employee inquiries, all while providing excellent customer service to our employees and leaders. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support cross-functional KPPL teams on assorted people-related projects. You will be part of the broader global People Operations team which aims to deliver standardized processes & policies, a remarkable employee experience, & end-to-end people operations. Our mission is to establish & uphold the framework for Klaviyo to be the best place for ambitious people to learn and grow. This position reports directly into the People Operations Manager.
How You Will Make a Difference:
- Serve as the first point of contact for global employees. Answer employee questions that come through the shared HR inbox and are related to people programs/policies, escalating any questions that are uncommon or not answered easily through a predefined script.
- Assist in onboarding new hires by supporting I-9 verification processing and background checks.
- Support basic Workday transactions and processing, such as onboarding, offboarding, organizational changes, benefits changes, and payroll events.
- Collaborate with HRBPs and centers of excellence teams (including Benefits, Payroll, Legal, Compensation) to support business leaders and managers on HR processes, policies, and best practices to enhance employee engagement and workforce productivity.
- Serve as a key point of contact for HR Business Partners, assisting with day-to-day coordination and execution of HR initiatives within the organization.
- Regularly update and improve the self-service experience for employees and managers through FAQs and how-to guides.
- Identify employee inquiry trends to determine areas for process improvement or automation.
- Identify and support projects related to system improvement work.
- Update and maintain documentation with process updates.
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some experience (~6 months) in an HR/People Operations role
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Process-oriented with project management experience and organization skills
- Comfortable with HRIS and HR software, with Workday experience strongly preferred
- Have a high EQ and deft ability to work with internal stakeholders across all departments and our external partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to navigate ambiguity and work effectively in high pressure situations
- Ability to interact with highly confidential data with sensitivity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Our salary range reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all our US locations. The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.
In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
