What We’re Looking For
Breezeway is hiring for a Quality Assurance Analyst to help ensure we deliver a dependable, high-quality product experience for our clients and their teams. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to test new features, uncover and document bugs, and ensure every release meets the standards our users count on. From early ideation through release and beyond, you’ll advocate for the end user—getting hands-on with real workflows, identifying edge cases, and making sure what we ship is not only functional but genuinely helpful. You’re energized by solving problems, digging into the details, and pushing for the best possible outcomes for our clients.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and execute manual test plans and test cases for both web and mobile platforms.
- Prioritize testing efforts based on business impact, user needs, risk level, and project timelines.
- Log and manage bugs using tools like JIRA and Testmo, ensuring issues are clear, actionable, and resolved before release.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Client teams to understand requirements and provide early feedback on testability and quality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning, contributing insights on testing scope, timelines, and risks.
- Maintain and evolve QA documentation, test case libraries, and team best practices.
- Troubleshoot bugs and surface meaningful insights to help teams resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Uphold QA standards and advocate for quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and provide support across multiple projects and feature areas.
Who You Are:
- A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and takes ownership of your work.
- Product-minded and client-focused—you consider the end user and business goals when testing.
- Clear and candid in communication, and proactive about getting what you need to succeed.
- Naturally curious and eager to investigate, solve, and prevent issues before they reach clients.
- Collaborative and solutions-oriented—you work well across disciplines and enjoy contributing to shared success.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Hands-on experience with QA processes in an agile development environment.
- Proficiency with JIRA, and familiarity with tools like Testmo or similar.
- Strong understanding of manual testing techniques—functional, regression, smoke, E2E, acceptance, and exploratory.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities—you’re great at narrowing down issues and identifying root causes. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- A collaborative mindset and experience working closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams.
- Experience working in a SaaS or startup environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with Twilio, AWS, or device/mobile web testing is a bonus.
