The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

**This is a ranged posting (Senior SBU System Support Analyst & Principal SBU System Support Analyst). Level offered will be based on candidate experience at manager discretion**
Liberty Mutual Insurance is actively searching for a System Support Analyst. helping build and deliver insurance products to market. In this role you will partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, IT partners, and other System Support Analysts as you help define, build, and analyze solutions for key business priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates industry wide standards and complex business requirements
- Executes Ratabase coding tasks with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency, ensuring that all code complies with established coding standards and protocols.
- Performs process analysis to determine alternative business solutions or process improvement opportunities
- Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation of complex business requirements
- Analyzes and documents complex business problems and provides recommendations based on research of industry trends, business products, and performance analysis for optimal business solutions
- Analyzes feasibility, cost ramifications, economies, or other aspects of large or complex programs
- Executes quality plans including test strategy creation, test case writing, and test execution
- Consults on complex business issues and design considerations
- Performs production support activities including Jira ticket monitoring, triage, and escalation
- Analyzes, documents, and maps complex insurance data
- Utilizes generative AI to streamline processes and enhance efficiencies
Preferred Skills:
- Liberty and Safeco system and product knowledge.
- Experience with pricing and rating systems
- Ratabase experience desired but not required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6-8 years related experience.
- Thorough knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies and global business trends in the financial services industry; current on new methods of integrating technology with business strategy.
- Thorough knowledge of business priorities and investments required for long range success.
- Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge of diverse technologies and new and current architectures.
- Skills in object, data and process modeling; financial analysis and planning; migration planning; business value analysis; business process design.
- Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
