Nominations for February 2019's VentureFizz Spark Award Are Now Open!

In November, we introduced the Spark Award, our initiative to recognize the companies in New York's tech scene that have a spark likely to ignite into something much greater.

We've done the award for three months now, and after thousands of votes and close races, our hall of fame now includes Bowery in November, Tomorrow Lab in December, and Simon Data in January. Here is our video interview with Irving Fain, Bowery's CEO & Co-Founder:

And our interview with Ted Ullrich and Pepin Gelardi, the founders of Tomorrow Lab:

And lastly, our interview with Jason Davis, Simon Data's Co-Founder and CEO:

And now, it's time to nominate candidates for February!

Like with the previous months, we're opening things up for nominations. We'll narrow the field down to the top 5 companies who are deserving of the honor. Then, we will create a poll for everyone to ultimately vote for the winner.

The winner will be profiled in a video interview which will be featured on VentureFizz at the end of the month and they will also get a free 6-month BIZZpage subscription to help out with their hiring plans!

We are kicking things off today! You can submit your nomination using the form below. The deadline for nominations is this Friday (February 8th) at 5 pm. We'll publish the poll next week for voting.
