We had the opportunity to catch up with Eva Maloney, Vice President of Business Operations at AppNeta to get an inside look at what they do, the company's day-to-day operations, and culture. Check out the interview below to learn more!

Can you share the details on what AppNeta does?
AppNeta delivers SaaS-based network and end-user experience performance monitoring for any cloud, every user, and all of your business locations. Essentially, we help IT professionals provide consistent, high-quality access to critical SaaS business applications.
Describe the inner workings of your TruPath™ technology. Explain some key features that make AppNeta’s product unique.
TruPath is the core technology of the AppNeta Performance Manager. We created this patented technology because legacy approaches to network monitoring effectively require you to own every device on the internet, which simply doesn’t work for IT organizations that need to understand end-user experience with SaaS and web applications. TruPath uses a lightweight, continuous methodology that allows accurate network performance monitoring without flooding a network (which would make the network unusable). If TruPath identifies an issue it will automatically escalate the monitoring to a hop-by-hop diagnostic test and then run the results through an AI-based pattern matching algorithm to identify the root cause of performance problems.

What are your company’s core values or how would you best describe the culture and working environment at AppNeta?

What types of activities are employees involved in at or outside the office?
Two years ago we officially formed the AppNeta Culture Committee, which has representatives from each team and is responsible for planning regular activities in and out of the office. We love a good theme party, and we take Halloween very seriously around here. But the crowd favorite has to be our monthly trivia night! In addition, we regularly partner with charitable organizations such as Cradles to Crayons, the MSPCA, Toys for Tots, and others to make sure we always maintain a focus on giving back to our community.
Share one or more random fun facts about AppNeta.
We can neither confirm nor deny that we have dart boards with the logos of key competitors. But if we did, you can bet we’d have had to retire a few due to overuse. Hypothetically, of course.
We’ve been known to encourage streaming of large sports events because our network performance demo environment is directly connected to our office internet and nothing says network congestion like 20 simultaneous streams from ESPN.
