We connected with Vistaprint to see how they are adapting to a post Covid world and to get a look at how they are helping small businesses and the community.
What is Vistaprint’s current status in terms of hiring, and what does the remote process look like?
Vistaprint is currently hiring across all functions! Please visit Vistaprint.careers.com to search for current open positions. As we practice safe social distancing, we are conducting all interviews virtually, via Zoom. As an organization, we have been collaborating across teams daily, and our state-of-the-art technology and collaboration tools allow us to maintain global connectivity, and drive business outcomes effectively!
Working with small businesses has been the foundation of Vistaprint's customer base. Just in case someone is not familiar with Vistaprint, how do you support small businesses?
Vistaprint is the marketing partner to millions of small business owners around the world, empowering each one to live their dreams. For more than 20 years, we have helped small businesses look and feel credible through high-quality marketing, including promotional products, postcards, business cards, signage, apparel, websites and digital marketing. With Vistaprint, small businesses are able to create and customize their marketing with our easy-to-use digital tools and design-templates, or by receiving real-time, expert graphic design support. Our focus is on helping small businesses project a consistent and cohesive brand image that makes them look their best in-store, online, on-site and on-the-go.
Now more than ever, we're doing all we can to help small businesses get through this difficult time and thrive in a post-pandemic world. We continue to adapt our offerings to better serve our small business customers.
What has Vistaprint done differently to help small businesses and communities since COVID-19?
Vistaprint rallied its engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize existing machinery to begin producing face shields in a matter of days. We’re showing our support of frontline healthcare providers by donating 100,000 face shields to hospitals in communities across the country.
Vistaprint is also the proud founding funder of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Save Small Business Fund. Vistaprint’s donation of $1 million helped to launch this small business assistance program, which provides one-time grants of $5,000 to eligible small businesses in distressed communities across the country. We are adding to our $1 million contribution to help small businesses by also donating 10% of the proceeds from our newly launched line of face masks with a replaceable nanofilter system.
As a marketing partner to millions of small business owners around the world, Vistaprint is offering critical marketing services such as products with COVID-19 messaging, an expanded suite of online marketing services and a content hub to help guide them during this time.
Communication and safety has become critical for essential businesses that have been open throughout the pandemic as well as for the small businesses beginning to open up across the country. We quickly pivoted our production to create face shields and reusable face masks to help keep frontline personnel and customers safe. Our team of designers also worked to create COVID-19 templates for posters, banners, floor decals and more to help keep customers informed as they return to their favorite small businesses.
Vistaprint’s growing bank of resources includes free social design tools allowing small businesses to stand out on social platforms, Vistaprint Profiles that offer a free rapid path to getting an online presence for those without a website, a live online series with small business experts called Home Office Hours Live and low-cost design assistance to help small businesses bring everything together with a cohesive brand look and feel.
