TUGG's Entrepreneur Olympics a Huge Success

Last Thursday over 350 members of the Boston startup community convened at the Reggie Lewis Track for the first ever Entrepreneur Olympics to benefit BUILD in Boston.

The night was a huge success for the first time event put together by TUGG, NEVCA, Plastiq, MassChallenge, and T3 Advisors.

Check out TUGG's great video covering the highlights of the event:

From fun events like Orb races and “Minute to Win It”, to serious competitions such as the 5K (which was swept by RaceMenu-whom I foolishly overlooked in my own predictions for the event, it seems like everyone involved enjoyed some healthy competition and a whole lot of fun.

The event’s overall winner was the USA team, made up employees from Silicon Valley Bank, Atlas Ventures, and RunKeeper. Luckily, not all my predictions were wrong as the Coachup/Evertrue team “Israel” won the hoops competition.

Here is the full list of winners:

Basketball: Israel (Coachup & Evertrue)
Volleyball: USA
Tug of war: Israel (Plastiq & Evertrue)
Cornhole: Israel (Plastiq & Evertrue)
5K: China (Racemenu) - Brad Misch, Jason Bui, Brendan Kearney, Alain Ferry
60 yard dash - female: Israel (Cassie Coash - Evertrue)
60 yard dash - male: China (Ben Cooper - Sensible Baby)
High Jump & Long Jump: USA (Devin O'Brien - SVB)
World's Strongest Man: USA (Chris Leary - SVB)

We can't wait until next year's event and may start our training regiment immediately.
