Sigfox USA is the local Internet of Things (IoT) network operator for the global low power, wide area (LPWA) connectivity provider, Sigfox. With coverage in 24 out of the 25 top metropolitan markets, including 30% of the United States population. Headquartered in Boston, Sigfox USA also has offices in San Francisco and Dallas.
Sigfox has built a global network to connect billions of devices to the Internet while consuming as little energy as possible, as simply as possible. Sigfox global coverage spans across 60 countries.

Ludovic Le Moan
Ludovic Le Moan, CEO
Ludovic Le Moan co-founded SIGFOX, the world’s leading provider of dedicated communications service for the Internet of Things. In order to support SIGFOX’s global expansion, he has raised a total $150 million round of financing from strategic and financial investors in Europe, the U.S. and Asia.
Le Moan has been involved in the machine-to-machine space since 2000, when he co-founded Anyware Technologies, which enabled the connection, management and monitoring of remote equipment through a Web interface. After selling Anyware Technologies to Wavecom in 2008, Le Moan co-founded Goojet, a B2C services company that offered a simple, personal experience of the mobile web and allowed users to share and exchange messages and content. He served as COO of the company, now repositioned as scoop.it, from February 2008 to March 2011.
Earlier in his career, he held a variety of scientific and business positions. He spent four years with COFRAMI Group, a 1,500-employee computer engineering and software solutions company serving the aerospace, telecommunications, IT, defense and other industries. He was general director when he left to found Anyware Technologies.
Le Moan is a serial entrepreneur who also founded and chairs IoT Valley, a Toulouse, France, association that offers mentoring, networking and other support for startups in the Internet of Things.
He received an engineering degree from ENSIMAG (Grenoble Institute of Technology), a leading French school in computer science, applied mathematics and telecommunications.

Christophe Fourtet, co-founder and technical director
Christophe Fourtet co-founded SIGFOX in 2009 to build a global network that is dedicated to the Internet of Things and operates with very low cost and minimal energy consumption. Before co-founding SIGFOX, his career was focused on developing radio technologies at leading technology and semiconductor companies. In addition to RF technology, his expertise includes embedded systems, semiconductors and SOCs.
From 2003 to 2009, Fourtet served as wireless hardware platform manager at Freescale Semiconductor.
Fourtet joined Freescale from Motorola, where he was a senior cellular hardware and system engineer. He helped create the cellular hardware group that developed Motorola’s mobile phone. Prior to that, he served as a radio engineer at SAGEM.
Fourtet graduated from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon (INSA Lyon) in lectrical and telecommunications sciences. He did post-doc work in electromagnetism.
