Superpedestrian is a transportation robotics company located in Cambridge, Mass. Founded out of MIT and beginning operations in 2013, Superpedestrian develops core technologies for micro-mobility. The company invested 3.5 years in research and development to produce its Vehicle Intelligence technology, which it introduced into the market in 2017 with its award-winning Copenhagen Wheel. Having set a new standard in electric bike drive systems, the company now brings its Vehicle Intelligence technology to shared fleets of electric bikes and scooters.

CEO & Founder
Assaf is a technology inventor, author, and entrepreneur. He is the Founder and CEO of Superpedestrian, a robotics company bringing intelligence to vehicles with connected fleet solutions built for scale. Since 2004 Assaf has been teaching at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he is the associate director of the SENSEable City Laboratory - a research group pioneering in the field of Smart Cities. Assaf has a background in physics, design, and computing. He holds multiple patents and has co-authored over 45 publications and book chapters. His work has been exhibited in numerous worldwide venues, and featured in over 1000 media publications.
A 25 year industry expert, Gil brings experience in product management, channel and business development, marketing and global operations. Previously led small and large businesses such as CA Technologies (Computer Associates), Cheynne, Sapiens and FalconStor. Results driven, he helps the Superpedestrian team successfully strategize and execute.
VP of Business and Corporate Development
Graham has built and invested in multi-modal transportation companies for the past 5 years. Graham is on the Board at Zoomcar, India's largest shared car rental company. Previously, he was the co-founder and COO of LiftMetrix, sold to Hootsuite.
