Founder, CEO & Chairman
Lingping Gao founded NetBrain Technologies in 2004 with a mission to simplify network management. Prior to founding NetBrain, Mr. Gao was the Chief Network Architect at Thomson Financial, where he managed the complexities of large enterprise networks and experienced the challenges of maintaining network performance. Mr. Gao has experience within multiple areas of business, including management, engineering and international business within the networking, software and automotive industries. Mr. Gao holds a BS and a BA in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University and an MS in Engineering from Yale University.
Dr. Weilie Ma has served as the Senior Vice President, Office of the CEO at NetBrain since July 2014. She is responsible for the execution of strategic initiatives supporting rapid expansion of NetBrain, including talent development, international expansion, business partnership, and program management. Prior to this role, Dr. Ma served as the Vice President of Operations from 2007 to 2014. Before joining NetBrain, Dr. Ma worked as a Research Scientist at Children’s Hospital Boston. Dr. Ma holds a Ph.D. degree from Yale University in Biology.
Vice President of Services/Support/Pre-Sales
Song Pang has served as the Vice President of Professional Services/Support and Pre-Sales at NetBrain since 2014, responsible for leading the planning and implementation efforts of professional services and defining the customer support roadmap in collaboration with the Company Committee. Song also leads the Pre-Sales Engineering teams, helping to ensure customer success. Eric holds a B.S degree from Cornell in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Chief Revenue Officer
Alex Alvarez has 20+ years of executive leadership experience in technology sales. Most recently, Alex transformed Iron Mountain’s Data Management sales organization to sell Cloud Infrastructure solutions. Earlier in his career at Riverbed, he spearheaded the growth of the Network Performance Management over 5-years including the assimilation of the OPNET acquisition. In addition, Alex has held executive sales positions at McAfee, Network Associates and Unitrends. He has a BS degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Chief Financial Officer
Dan Brosnan joined NetBrain as Chief Financial Officer in 2019. He leads the accounting, financial strategy and planning for NetBrain. Dan has a 25 year track record as a successful financial leader at high-growth companies.
Most recently Dan served as CFO at Arbor Networks and previously served in a financial leadership role at Boston Communications Group. A licensed CPA, he graduated from Bentley University with a B.S. in Accountancy and also worked for six years in the audit department at the global accounting firm KPMG.

I started working at NetBrain as intern in October 2018, while I was finishing my MBA. It was challenging at the beginning, but thanks to the support from management and my teammates it was easier for me to accomplish my goals. I have enjoyed every second working at NetBrain. Every day is an opportunity to develop my analytical skills, learn new processes and be part of implementations. I am looking forward to continued growth within the company.
