The Sales/Business Development Representative is responsible for outbound prospecting, qualifying prospects and scheduling discovery meetings for the Sales team. The role leverages various research tools, technologies, relevant content, strategies and tactics to identify ideal prospects and usher them into our sales pipeline. The role will work closely with Evergage Sales Reps, understand their respective sales territories and systematically go after the markets we serve and the companies we target. The role will report to Sales Management and can either be in our corporate headquarters in Somerville, MA or remote.


  • Uncover new opportunities and manage prospects through the early stages of the sales process
  • Prospect, qualify and schedule meetings for the Sales organization
  • Partner with the Sales Reps to learn about their respective sales territories, craft target lists and develop strategies and tactics for prospecting
  • Cultivate a strong relationship with Marketing
  • Leverage content and other resources to hit key metrics/targets
  • Understand the space Evergage is in, how to speak the language of our target audience and communicate why we are better than our rivals
  • Become a marketing technology and real-time personalization expert


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, or related fields
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required
  • SalesForce.com experience a plus
  • Passionate about sales and technology
  • Must be competitive / driven to win
  • Must be a collaborative, team player
  • Previous sales experience with demonstrated ability to meet/exceed sales quotas a plus
