Overview
As the Senior Product Manager for Platform you will provide overall product leadership for the underlying platform of HealthRules suite of products. Working directly with customers, engineering teams, and other product managers and internal functions, you will lead the process of defining, prioritizing, and delivering strategy, roadmap, and features that both innovate and enhance the underlying technology platform for all of our products. Responsibilities
- Provide product leadership and direction for the platform and underlying technologies
- Work with customers to understand their business needs and how they translate to platform, platform technologies, and platform integration/workflow
- Provide guidance about the vision, features, and overall priorities specific to HealthEdge’s product platform
- Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog and release plan for new platform capabilities
- Coordinate go-to-market activities with key stakeholders, including Customers, Account Executives, Sales, Professional Services, and Cloud Operations, to create and deliver a great customer experience
- Work with the compliance team to anticipate regulatory changes that affect the solution
- Develop high level business requirements for epics and user stories describing the business value and user stories
- Work with engineering in scrum activities as a product owner as needed
- Provide guidance to additional platform-aligned product managers
- Lead periodic customer onsite visits
- Lead internal training and knowledge transfer for key product features
Required Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a SaaS-based, Agile/Scrum technology company and all related processes (e.g. story mapping, requirements writing, prioritized backlogs, product ownership within a scrum team)
- 3+ years’ experience in product management with increasing levels of responsibility
- 3+ years’ experience in cloud computing emerging technologies (or related field) working both with customers and engineering teams to translate needs
- While you will not be writing code, you need to be comfortable and conversant in discussing concepts and technologies like REST, JSON, Java, Kafka, message queuing, distributed file systems, data lakes, microservices, orchestration platforms, Elasticsearch, and/or EDI/HL-7/FHIR
- Demonstrated experience translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of successfully working with product management or other business function to analyze, define, and document software requirements for commercial software product development
- Proven track record working with enterprise customers and managing complex customer relationships
- Clear thinking and the ability translate ideas, concepts, context, and business or technical rationale to written and/or presentation format for a variety of internal (management) or external (customers) audiences
