: Senior Software Engineer in Test

DUTIES: Develop new automation frameworks and innovate existing ones to meet the needs of a changing product. Define program level automation roadmap and improve processes for unit, component, integration and system level automation. Write new automation code at the unit, component, and integration level and fully own the quality, reliability and usability of organizational components. Help introduce new types of automation and code analysis into the SDLC to ensure thorough testing from all aspects of quality. Analyze business requirements to develop comprehensive automation test plans. Design API’s for functional requirements, user experience and performance goals of system workflows. Assess improvements of continuous integration and testing procedures for several scrum teams by analyzing test metrics. Evaluate quality risk for product changes and propose test strategy to address these risks. Promote and drive TDD or BDD within a scrum team. Pair-program with Software Engineers to catch and fix defects early in development. Mentor and coach Associate and mid-level Software Engineers in Test to develop their technical and soft skills to operate more efficiently within their teams. Use metric-based decision making to oversee the quality of a selection of products within Eclipse.

REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Computer Information Systems followed by 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive experience using Unit, API, and UI automation testing.  5 Years of Experience to include web development using JavaScript, Python, or Go. Experience to include therein 3 years with Agile, Scrum or SAFe and 2 years with Protractor, Selenium, Karma, Jasmine, Jenkins or related CI tools, as well as 2 years of technical expertise in supporting teams to demonstrate operational efficiency.
