: Quality Assurance Engineer

DUTIES: Improve quality, functionality, reliability and usability of software products; Analyze business requirements to develop and execute comprehensive test plan with systematic QA methodology; Perform thorough test case execution and defect reporting; Analyze test results to assure quality of existing and new functionalities; Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of overall system. Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the development process; Create and expand automated regression tests. Develop and execute test cases, automated scripts, and regression suites to ensure software functionality meets the highest standards of quality before going out to production. Collaborate with product development, and product managers to help release new functionality to clients. Monitor software development process so as to ensure design quality before a product is released. Identify and analyze bugs found during testing and document them as needed. Perform reporting on thorough test case execution and defects and analyze test results to assure quality of existing and new functionalities.

REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience with tools such as Automation in Test Complete, UI Framework, Relational database, Concurrent computing, Client/Server architecture such as Software as a Service (SaaS) with front end heavy client applications. 3 years of experience to include C++, Java script, and SSRS reporting. 3 years of experience to include Software testing within an AGILE environment.
