** Note: this position is based out of Rave's corporate office in Framingham, MA but we are open to speaking with candidates that have remote work experience in a sales role.


What you'll do:
  • Develop a strong understanding of target buying personas, solution offering, and competitive landscape
  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new opportunities
  • Build and maintain healthy pipeline
  • Demonstrated ability to sell to multiple buyers within an organization
  • Develop and manage a sales forecast & pipeline in order to exceed annual quotas and goals
  • Actively manage daily responsibilities to develop ones territory such as cold calls, appointments, sales presentations, and proposals while demonstrating excellent time management skills

Who you are:

  • 5-7 years of quota carrying software sales experience
  • Proven track record of developing a territory by prospecting, identifying, qualifying and closing new business
  • A self-starter with executive presence
  • Experience selling into State and Local Executive Offices, Superintendents, K-12 IT departments, or Directors of School Safety and Security
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations and running consultative meetings
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • About 20% domestic travel
  • Formal sales training program (Sandler, Miller Heiman, SPIN selling, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, Hubspot and Web Demonstration tools
  • Public speaking/presentation experience
