As a Product Manager in Facebook's AI and Analytics Developer experience team, you will be responsible for building innovative, world-class products and capabilities that empower our data and machine learning engineers to move fast and build high-quality products. We are looking for entrepreneurial Product Managers that are highly technical to innovate and execute product initiatives across the company.

Required Skills

  • Build the vision, strategy, and roadmap of AI and Analytics big bets that Facebook should invest in to drive step-change impact for our products
  • Build new AI and Analytics tools for data and machine learning engineers at Facebook working with teams like Instagram, Ads and Oculus which operate at Facebook scale and tackle problems like reducing integrity issues, making content and ads more relevant, and improving search amongst many others
  • Have a clear pulse on innovations across the broader AI and analytics community and help us identify new opportunities and look around corners
  • Drive product development with multiple teams of world-class engineers, designers, product specialists
  • Integrate market analysis, research and usability studies into product requirements
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products

I'm an engineering manager on our real-time infrastructure team, and my team focuses on GraphQL Subscriptions — a component of the widely-used GraphQL open source query language for APIs — that makes it easier for engineers to build real-time features into their products. At Facebook, this framework powers a number of features that people use every day, including comment-typing indicators and streaming reactions on live videos.

We develop the network software for Facebook applications on iOS and Android platforms. This includes measuring and improving performance, reliability, security, and efficiency of network communication with Facebook servers. Getting the most out of a diverse set of worldwide mobile networks, and millions of handsets with a wide range of hardware capabilities is challenging as well as fun. All this while we play good citizens in these networks and are mindful of the device battery, storage, and data consumption.
