About the Role

• Serve as a DevOps Engineer to design, develop and operate the Aternity SaaS platform
• Ensure our SaaS platform is always improving and following the state of the art in areas such as infrastructure as code, continuous deployment and continuous monitoring
• Work with development teams to ensure application services running on our SaaS platform follow best practices and use the latest monitoring and testing techniques
• Assist with investigating and troubleshooting of SaaS platform and customer issues

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in a technical field, or equivalent military or career experience
• 1-3 years of experience in a software engineering, automation or operations role
• Self-motivated and capable of high performance under minimal supervision
• A passion for automation and infrastructure as code
• Excellent communication skills
• Extensive experience working with AWS
• Programming skills with languages such as Python or Node.js
• Experience writing automation and configuration management with tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform or Vagrant
• Experience developing or working with automated test and monitoring solutions
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes or other containerization/orchestration technologies
