Upserve is looking for a Senior Director of Demand Generation to join its growing marketing team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer you will be responsible for strategy, execution and measurement of all demand generation programs to increase the volume and quality of sales opportunities. Working closely with the Senior Director of Brand Marketing and cross-functional teams from Product, Data Science, Finance and Sales, you will drive greater brand value, improve customer experience, and drive retention and incremental sales. -Own strategy, execution and measurement of demand generation efforts to drive high quality leads. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product and Finance teams to refine strategy and tactics for demand generation.
-Develop cohesive and integrated demand generation strategy using both online and offline channels including but not limited to SEO, SEM, paid social media, display, remarketing, offline media, ABM, affiliates, and email marketing
-Build, oversee and mentor a high performing team of demand generation experts. Determine team goals and continually track and report KPIs. As a player-coach, lead by example and hold team accountable for meeting goals.
-Track report, analyze and optimize all lead generation programs based on a comprehensive view of full funnel analytics.
-Collaborate with Data Science, Business Applications, Sales, Product and Marketing teams to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of lead generation programs
-Participate in all annual and quarterly review and planning sessions with cross-functional teams to inform and refine lead generation strategies.
-Lead web development and campaign teams to collaborate with brand/content/creative teams to optimize creative and technical execution to improve conversions.
-Collaborate with business operations and applications teams to develop reporting dashboards and prepare custom reports as requested by the CMO and executive team.
-Continually evaluate existing demand generation strategy and identify new avenues for scalable growth. Plan and manage media budgets, and identify and manage external agencies and vendors that serve as an extension to the lead generation team.
-As part of the marketing leadership team serve as the primary contact for all demand generation functions within the marketing team.
Required Skills and Experience
-Experience building, mentoring and growing lead generation teams in a high-growth and competitive industry. Experience in B2B SaaS industry preferred.
-Superior knowledge of building data driven and creative demand generation programs with track record of improving lead quality and lead production efficiency
-Curiosity to continually learn and improve.
-Passion for taking risks, improving processes, and making data-driven decisions
-Experience creating, testing, analyzing and optimizing B2B demand generation campaigns
-Analytical with experience using data for A/B testing, segmentation and personalization
-Hands-on experience with Marketing technology stacks including but not limited to Wordpress, Google Analytics, AdWords, GTM, SEM Rush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, Salesforce and CDPs
-Knowledge of best practices for improving demand generation for B2B SaaS products
-Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with senior leadership across the organization
-Prior experience in hospitality industry is preferred but not required
-Bachelors degree with commensurate experience in related field
-SME with history of success in demand generation
