The Partnerships organization within Facebook focuses on creating strategic partnerships with some of the most exciting companies to connect people to the experiences and brands they love. Strategic Planning & Operations helps the Partnerships leaders build better businesses through strategic planning and operational effectiveness. The Strategic Planning & Operations team is looking for a lead to support the Americas business of Facebooks Audience Network. In this role, you will partner closely with the leader of the Americas as well as with cross-functional leaders in Partnerships Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Finance. As a critical thinker and trusted thought partner, you will enable leadership to make analytically-driven strategic decisions and help increase operational rigor of the business.The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook, and have a deep understanding of the Ad Tech ecosystem, a strong analytical and consultative strategic mindset with a track record of driving tangible results, experience in working with stakeholders from both commercial and technical backgrounds, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Required Skills

  • Strategic Planning:
  • Be a thought partner and influencer with leaders and other internal stakeholders on key business initiatives, programs, resource planning, and special projects
  • Frame decisions and contribute a strong point of view on how to build out the business
  • Be the person that can connect the dots between teams to identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and collaboration
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new markets, products or verticals, including organizational design to enable these strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in the industry, including knowledge of current/potential partners
  • Operations:
  • Lead core sales operations processes for the team, including quarterly and annual goal setting and planning
  • Ensure we have strong plans and KPIs in place at a regional and market/vertical level
  • Lead operational reviews and business analytics to drive decision-making and review progress on goals and priorities (e.g. monthly/quarterly business reviews)
  • Drive key leadership meetings and facilitate alignment on key issues and opportunities
  • Conduct business research and analysis and provide actionable insights for leadership to support decision-making (e.g. revenue, customer, market insights)
  • Oversee building of standard business review documents and business requirements for reporting
  • Identify areas of process improvement and build plans for teams to improve
  • Work closely with internal communications teams to ensure leadership is communicating constantly and transparently within the team and across Facebook

This includes measuring and improving performance, reliability, security, and efficiency of network communication with Facebook servers. Getting the most out of a diverse set of worldwide mobile networks, and millions of handsets with a wide range of hardware capabilities is challenging as well as fun. All this while we play good citizens in these networks and are mindful of the device battery, storage, and data consumption.
