As a member of the Transformation Consumer Innovation and Enterprise Virtual Care group, the Senior Director of virtual care & telehealth product strategy & development will have the responsibility of owning all product development within the enterprise virtual care and telehealth portfolio, and will play a critical role in defining the future state of the enterprise virtual care and telehealth strategy. We are looking for a results-oriented individual with the ability to work cross functionally with key stakeholders to deliver and keep others on task to meet defined goals.
Key responsibilites include:
- Leading a cross-functional team to create and execute on product plans, identification of new product opportunities, coordination of market and product research, and management of relationships with strategic partners and key internal stakeholders.
- Leading the development of the technical capabilities architecture, and roadmap, and lead the team to execute on this roadmap, ensuring that the product build will suite the needs of the customer.
- Hold digital and IT teams accountable to building the product to specifications and on-schedule
- Establish and oversee the processes, monitoring and organizational approach between your group and business unit teams that result in consistently great products
- Business case and financial evaluation of the portfolio to ensure targets are met
- Build pilot tests, product launch, and performance monitoring to targets
The role will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams of colleagues, including analysts, marketing, business development, clinical operations, and legal experts, among others.
This work will require significant executive presence, presentation creation and delivery skills, and the ability to make connections across disciplines and levels of seniority.
10+ years of experience at a health system/provider organization or within a payor working with providers
Telehealth and/or virtual care product experience strongly preferred
Experience leading digital product teams strongly preferred
Must demonstrate both the technical abilities to lead a highly technical team and management skills to work across organizations to get products to market with efficiency
History of leading complex projects involving multiple matrixed workgroups across a large endeavor/organization
Strong communicator, both verbal and written, with executive presence and the ability to influence across functions and at all levels of an organization
Ability to provide vision to large teams to guide multi-month fast-paced projects, establish key milestones driven by market/enterprise need, and direct matrixed teams on how to approach key initiatives, including identifying relevant data sources and subject matter experts
Ability to build strong relationships with peers and senior executives including the capacity to see around corner to unlock potential roadblocks and secure necessary funds/resources
Demonstrated organized, detail-oriented, and structured thinking and execution, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed in order to meet deadlines, demonstrating a high level of independent judgment and proactivity
Structured and logical thinking with the ability to identify and define business problems and issues, and develop strategic, analytical and financial frameworks to conduct analysis and/or measure success.
Proven capability conducting and managing quantitative analysis with the highest level of attention to detail.
Powerful communicator with the ability to succinctly convey complex issues to a diverse range of constituents, both verbally and on paper at all levels of an organization.
Experience developing, designing and leading execution of implementation plans to improve profitability and operational efficiencies.
Bachelor's Degree required
