The Role
The Senior Analyst Relations Specialist is responsible for establishing and executing a comprehensive industry analyst program at AspenTech. In this role, the ideal candidate will manage complex paid and earned relationships with multiple analyst firms around the world, and with internal stakeholders from across the executive suite, corporate marketing, and product marketing. The individual is responsible for ongoing, value-added engagements with targeted analysts, as well as ensuring AspenTechs inclusion in high profile reports, such as Gartner Magic Quadrants, as well as other prioritize analyst reports.
Your Impact
- Devise plans designed to help AspenTech establish deeper, more strategic engagements with prioritized members of the industry analyst community
- Build and maintain proactive, positive relationships with key individual analysts
- Facilitate all analyst engagements-including inquiry calls, vendor briefings, advisory sessions, and speaking engagements-from scheduling to moderating to distributing insights
- Collaborate closely with corporate marketing, product marketing and other subject matter experts on area-specific plan and to develop briefing materials and other analyst content
- Develop and monitor analyst firm report calendars for relevant research reports and coverage potential
- Coordinate distribution and use of analyst generated content, coverage, and insights across internal stakeholders to drive increased awareness, amplification, and value
- Lead real-time monitoring for analyst perception and inclusion across published research, blogs, and social media
Prepare and host analyst-specific events as appropriate
What You'll Need
- Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- 5+ years experience in marketing, communications, product management, or consulting in B2B software
- Direct experience planning and executing analyst relations program is required
- Experience participating in or leading vendor ratings in Gartner Magic Quadrants and Forrester Waves is a plus
- Experience working with technology customers or a general knowledge of the customer engagement space
- Experience managing and organizing multiple, complex tasks and projects concurrently
- Experience operating in a technological environment with organizational complexity

- Strong presentation skills including strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills
- Strong persuasive skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels, including senior executives, within AspenTech and the analyst community
