About You:
- You enjoy designing and building embedded (Linux) systems
- You like to work independently on problems and learn in the process
- You like working in an interdisciplinary and diverse team
What skills do I need?
- Experience with a systems language (i.e., C, C++, Rust)
- Experience with shell scripting and command line environments
- Interest or experience in an OS build system (Yocto, Buildroot, Android)
- Familiarity with an interpreted language (eg, Javascript, Elixir, Python)
- Familiarity with common hardware buses and devices (eg, I2C, SPI, PCIE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and add bootloader and kernel patches on Tulip hardware
- Code and integrate Tulip software into the Tulip OS
- Port the Tulip OS to other hardware targets
- Maintain and support OS toolchain and versioning
