About the role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing Bullhorns staffing solutions. The ideal candidate will be a smart and progressive thinker with a proven track record of tackling complex problems by breaking them down and delivering solutions in an incremental fashion under tight timelines. You will work closely with customers, product leads and scrum teams to provide direction, guidance and support.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

Understanding, translating, and articulating business problems in a way that empowers your team to solve a problem.

Driving product strategy by aligning with executives to make progress on company goals.

Measuring and tracking product analytics against KPIs.

Proposing innovative solutions for new and existing customers that produce a meaningful result.

Serving as the subject-matter expert and the go-to person for one or more Bullhorn products.

Developing, publishing, and maintaining the roadmap for one or more products.
-
Diligently and continuously prioritizing and re-prioritizing work based on customer input, customer go-to-market plans, stakeholder input, internal and external drivers, and user feedback.

Communicating the roadmap and execution progress to internal and external stakeholders at regular cadences.

Writing epic and user stories, grooming case content, and working together with your team to estimate work.

Continually setting context, drawing folks into the big picture, and breaking down complex ideas into easy to understand headlines.

Reviewing and transforming customer feedback into product enhancements.

Working closely with members of the UX team to understand, document & iterate over the user experience and usability of new capabilities.

Partnering with Architects, UX Designers and Developers to drive product development.

Defining milestones and success criteria for the development team.

Holding team members accountable to ensure in-scope and on-time delivery of releases and surfacing risks to leadership.

Leading and participating in cross-functional initiatives with members of Product Marketing, Development, Sales, Professional Services and Support to ensure the successful launch of new products and features.
A typical day will include:

Working with product owners to propose new solutions, and present product feedback to the team.
-
Breaking through confusion and indecision and driving your team to consensus and action.
-
Running user research and user validation sessions to validate potential designs and mitigate product risk.
-
Meeting with clients to review proposed solutions, analyze product metrics, and/or co-strategize to meet mutually held objectives.

Regularly present progress to internal stakeholders, celebrating success, and highlighting blockers and lessons learned.

Writing epics and other prompts that come with clearly articulated business problems and a shaped solution that has just enough detail to allow the team to take ownership of the problem.

Defining release and sprint goals for development team(s).

Managing and resolving customer & internally reported product escalations. Balancing resolution priority against roadmap commitments.

Documenting and communicating new product features for launch and tracking their usage post launch.

Actively soliciting user feedback to promote a sense of continuous product discovery.
