Senior Product Designer (Intralinks, Inc., an SS&C company; Waltham, Massachusetts): The Senior Product Designer will work on Project NEXT and the release of new versions of Intralinks research prototypes. The position involves researching and developing the Intralinks proprietary product lines to optimize user experience. The Senior Product Designer will encourage more visibility and provide optimized technical status reports to the rest of the organization as well as provide training to the extended team. Specific duties of the Product Designer will include: Delivering high-fidelity prototypes for new user interfaces and interactions for various online projects; delivering concept and vision prototypes, applying rapid ideation and prototyping skills; building prototypes based on approved requirements and wireframes to be used as part of usability tests and design iterations; supporting and collaborating with development and user experience teams during creation of new Intralinks products for concepts; collaborate with User Experience Leads to develop product and service designs; and translate business needs into user interface requirements while demonstrating an understanding of the balance between efficiency and ease of use and business goals.
Minimum requirements: Masters degree or equivalent in Digital Design, Design or related field and 3 years of related experience in a UX or Product Design role; or in the alternative, a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Digital Design, Design or related field and 5 years of related experience in a UX or Product Design role.
Must have: 3 years of experience using applied UX heuristics and patterns and standard UX design tools, including but not limited to Sketch and InVision, for the Fintech industry; 3 years of experience planning and leading product team in whiteboard facilitation to visually collaborate on incremental requirements; 3 years of experience leading design planning for incremental delivery of UX in product; 2 years of experience in successfully integrating design with Agile and Scrum SDLC; Ability to understand, own, and maintain inventory of User Flows for product segment and effectively collaborate with and provide documentation for extended Design System team; Ability to build and calibrate fidelity of wireframe flows and build Functional Ontology of product requirements as needed; Ability to build interactive product prototypes and conduct user validation sessions as needed; Ability to lead presentation of designs to cross-product teams for collaborative buy-in; and Ability to lead discovery and documentation of customer journeys for effective internal alignment
