This role will partner closely with Product Management and Engineering, and will leverage large behavioral and transactional data sets across a modern technical stack to identify opportunities for growth through additional user engagement and new offerings.  The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across a broad array of advanced analytics techniques and will be comfortable working independently as well as across a talented, collaborative peer group.

What You'll Do:

• Leverage a modern data & product analytics stack to understand and improve our ability to grow the business through strategic product improvements and net-new offerings, in deep partnership with Product, Engineering, and Design.
• Tell the story of customer behavior with data, helping to drive deep insights into customer needs and opportunities to improve and innovate on our products
• Inform our product roadmap through ad hoc analyses, A/B test experimentation design and analysis, and proactive insight generation. 
• Translate insight into business opportunities and outcomes.
• Add to our ranks of data champions across the company, contributing to our information-first culture.
• Assist in KPI definition and empower the org to more effectively understand and drive KPIs by creating intuitive dashboards

What You Have:

• Have 3-5 years experience performing quantitative analysis, ideally with experience in marketplace or e-commerce environments
• Be able to explain complex analysis to stakeholders at all levels of the organization and translate conclusions into straightforward and actionable business terms.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with modeling tools (R, Python) and common approaches (e.g. Random Forest, Gradient Boosting and Logistic Regression) as well as modern data exploration tools (e.g. Snowflake, Tableau)
• Be able to explain complex analyses, and translate conclusions into straightforward and actionable business terms.
• Experience working with common product analytics tools (Heap, Google Analytics, Amplitude, etc.)
• Be able to own and deliver projects/programs both on your own and as a member of a broader team.
• Have at least a BS in a quantitative field of study, or the real-world equivalent

Starting Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
