: Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant

We are seeking a Senior PreSales Solutions Consultant with a background in enterprise contact center software sales. As a product and industry subject matter expert, this person will support the sales team in meeting sales targets through flawless execution of our sales methodology.

In addition to supporting the success of our sales team, the Solutions Consulting team at Cogito is our front line for driving innovation in both our sales process and our product.


Support Cogitos Sales team as a product and contact center technology subject matter expert from opportunity qualification to close

Work with Cogitos Strategic Partnerships team to enable and empower the sales and product teams at our partners to help sell on our behalf

Create and conduct best-in-class pre-sales assets such as: (i) operational walk-throughs (ii) product demos (iii) secret shopper call campaigns (iv) perform product demos and solution architecture presentations

Partner with Cogitos sales reps to create proposals, business cases, and solution designs

Manage responses to RFP/RFIs, and client IT security and architecture questionnaires

Coordinate and communicate internally with Professional Services to ensure a smooth handoff from sales

Travel to client sites as necessary


Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science, information security, information technology, or equivalent

10+ years of contact center software pre-sales experience

Ability to influence and build relationships with people across all levels and organizations internally and externally

Ability to communicate effectively with a customers senior technical team and executives

Experience working at an Enterprise level Contact Center Vendor

Broad knowledge of enterprise contact center software and infrastructure, including CRM, Telephony, Knowledge Management, WFM/WFO, etc.

Broad knowledge of cloud contact center technologies

Passionate about technology and its ability to have a meaningful impact on the world

Experience working across industries. Primarily: Healthcare, Financial Services, and Insurance

Able to travel (25%+)


Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with business and IT leaders and executives, product managers, and engineers

Delivers outstanding demos and presentations with the ability to tailor the content and approach to match the objectives of each meeting

Creative, critical and solution-first thinker with customer service mentality

Can handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Can facilitate cross-group collaboration

Able to Execute: results-driven, detail-oriented, organized self- starter
