About the Role:
As a Software Project Manager, you will be responsible for software teams that are developing code for our internal and/or external customers. You will support teams that will follow an agile software development process (agile and scrum). You will closely work with teams that follow a structured project management process.
You will be responsible for facilitating the successful, on-time, high quality delivery of various product development activities by leading and coaching the teams. You will apply agile principles and frameworks to ensure the delivery teams are more responsive to rapidly changing business needs. You will be responsible for driving the day-to-day activities to meet the overall goals, objectives, product integration. You will coordinate with other departments and teams and ensure teams are communicating and collaborating. You are self-motivated, highly organized, driven and dedicated nature enables you to work within a collaborative culture.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning and facilitation of standard meetings to include; backlog preparation, iteration planning, retrospectives, iteration reviews and daily stand-ups
- Coach team(s) on agile values and principles
- Support the team by helping them remove impediments in their control and raising up impediments not in their/your control
- Help define project scope, goals, dependencies and deliverables
- Facilitate communication across Software and Hardware Engineering, Operations, Commercialization, and other key departments
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 2 years Scrum practices and related agile tools and techniques
- Experience with structure project management (eg phased gate structure)
- Able to coach across agile and structured project management systems
- Familiar with common software development practices, service-oriented environments, and Agile practices
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Must have good knowledge of end to end process of the SDLC

- Ability to work in a high-pressure fast paced environment

- Experience project managing with a fulfillment project with a physical component
- Experience with hardware development practices
