As a Hardware Reliability Engineer at 6RS, you will maintain and upgrade autonomous mobile robots to achieve uptime targets in busy warehouse environments. In this new position you will:
- Maintain, upgrade, and retrofit autonomous mobile robots at customer sites
- Analyze hardware failures and create action plans to ensure remediation
- Design, build, and deploy tools and service kits for field maintenance
- Report on hardware quality trends and execution of six sigma
- Develop and maintain documentation for the team
We're looking for a Hardware Reliability Engineer with:
- Extensive hands-on experience maintaining electromechanical devices
- Experience initiating process improvements
- Ability to engage customers when addressing failures or upgrading hardware
- Knowledge of Linux-based systems and command line interfaces
Travel: Hardware Reliability Engineers travel frequently (more than 40% of the time) to work with robots at customer sites in the region. This position will require travel in the UK and EU.
